Gyros, a provider of microfluidic technologies to miniaturise and automate immunoassays, will host its US seminar, 'Realising the 21st century lab today with nanolitre-scale innovation', next month.
Attendees drawn from biopharmaceutical companies and their service providers, CROs and CMOs will participate in discussions on the use of immunoassays throughout biotherapeutic and vaccine development workflows, from discovery, preclinical and clinical trials to bioprocess development and production.
Speakers already confirmed for the event include Quotient Bioresearch, Pfizer and Pfizer Animal Health, Merck, Medimmune, ICON Development Solutions, GSK, Cygnus Technologies, Bristol Myers Squibb and Astra Zeneca.
In addition to oral presentations, the event will include networking sessions and poster presentations.
Topics to be covered can include assay development, technology implementation and assay transfer in areas such as biomarker monitoring, pharmacokinetics (PK), anti-drug antibody (ADA) testing, cell line and process development, titer and potency testing, impurity testing and product characterisation The seminar will be held on 21-22 October 2010 at the Olde Mill Inn, Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
