An international optical manufacturer has purchased eight process viscometers from Cambridge Viscosity.
The company will use the in-line viscometers to control specialised coatings applied to lenses during the manufacturing process at its south-east Asia plant.
The company's engineers began testing Cambridge viscometers at its Florida facilities in 2001 and the instruments were approved for use in their lens-coating manufacturing process in 2002.
The company selected Cambridge viscometers for their accuracy, reliability and ease of integration, and because of their compact design, the company claims.
