Noblegen Products has launched the Labgas+ range of multi-featured laboratory gas generators, for production of nitrogen, pure air, combined nitrogen and air, and hydrocarbon-free gas.
New features include a flow indicator; digital pressure readouts; colour-graphic touchscreen showing the gas process in real time; programmable on/off function using a built-in calendar and clock; in-built alarm page with help menu; trend graph for QA reporting; and service reminder and records page.
There is also an optional oxygen analyser and dew-point sensing capability.
The automatic programmable on/off feature within the generator means operators no longer have to leave the generator on 24 hours a day in order to guarantee air purity.
Instead, the operator decides the generator's working hours in advance, so that the device is automatically switched off when the laboratory shuts for the night and restarted early in the morning, so that the gas is ready for when work begins, saving a minimum of 40 per cent in power usage.
