Esco will be participating and sponsoring the Biosafety conference in Bangkok, Thailand, on 15-17 February 2011.
The conference will be spearheaded by the International Federation of Biosafety Association (IFBA) tagged as 'Global biosafety and biosecurity - taking action'.
This step is taken by Esco as part of the company's effort to become more involved in regional biosafety.
In line with this, Esco is encouraging companies and individuals to actively participate in the event - especially those that are deeply involved in strengthening biosafety awareness and programmes at many different institutions and organisations.
The main objectives of the conference are to identify urgent gaps and priorities in under addressed regions of the world, explore the elements of cost-effective and sustainable programmes, facilitate a dialogue to leverage resources and collectively enhance local capacity, advocate strategies for strengthening national policies and programmes, and empower biosafety associations and individuals that are new to the field.
