Anachem has introduced Pipettechecker, an online tool for carrying out pipette validations quickly and easily in one's own laboratory.
After weighing a series of volumes of water dispensed from their pipette under known environmental conditions, a user can access the Pipettechecker through Anachem's website and let that do the rest.
The Pipettechecker performs a series of calculations and compares the user's data to the manufacturer's expected range for that pipette, then displays a detailed report for each pipette to show its performance and whether the pipette is within specification or not.
If the report displays that the pipette has failed, then the user can simply send their pipettes straight into Anachem's UKAS Accredited Pipette Service Centre (1 and 2 Titan Court, Laporte Way, Luton, LU4 8EF) where the company will give the pipette the attention it requires to bring it back to its optimum performance.
In addition, users of Pipettechecker will receive an exclusive discount off the service and calibration for pipettes that have been validated online.
