High-resolution InGaAs camera developed for the research and science community
FLIR Advanced Thermal Solutions (FLIR ATS) has launched its SC2600 near infrared (NIR) camera for the research and science community.
The SC2600 features sensitivity throughout the spectral range of 0.9-1.7 um and a high resolution to make accurate measurements and detect small targets.
Features such as independent video outputs, external frame synchronisation, video windowing, and independent data streams are designed to give scientists and researchers the imaging power for demanding applications.
The company claims the compact size and light weight of the FLIR SC2600 NIR camera improves the flexibility of operation in space restricted environments.
Potential applications include hyperspectral imaging, solar cell inspection, laser profiling, medical research, water or ice detection, silicon wafer processing, skin damage evaluation and phenomenology.
