Autoscribe Informatics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Autoscribe, has been launched with an office base in Falmouth, USA
The move is part of an effort to gain a much stronger presence in the US and Canadian markets. Autoscribe has worked with Zumatrix, an exclusive re-seller in North America, for around 15 years during which time a team of people had been put in place and close to 100 systems delivered in North America.
As part of this new investment the assets of Zumatrix were acquired by Autoscribe and all existing Zumatrix staff were retained.
John Boother, the founding director of Autoscribe and President of Autoscribe Informatics, said: "The formation of the new company will provide a huge opportunity for us to expand our business. "It also marks a significant strengthening of our commitment to the customer base within North America".
Autoscribe Informatics made its first conference appearance at Pittcon 2012 in Orlando last week. The latest versions of Matrix Gemini, a laboratory and business management solution, were displayed together with the modular version for quality management.
