Ocean Optics has unveiled the Apex 785 Raman Spectrometer to rival bench-top instruments.
The Apex 785 is the first in the Elite Series of high-performance spectrometers, light sources and accessories designed to combine maximum resolution and exceptional sensitivity.
Using a unique optical design and high throughput virtual slit, licensed from Tornado Spectral Systems, the Apex spectrometer claims to eliminate the tradeoff between sensitivity and resolution in a tool suitable for low light applications such as Raman spectroscopy.
