Olympus will display its inverted microscope frame series at the Focus on Microscopy exhibition.
The systems will highlight easy-to-use adaptability of the microscope concept from routine observation through to advanced imaging techniques.
Olympus will exhibit their IX3 inverted microscope systems for live cell applications.
The open source frame concept has been designed around an infinite light path made accessible with interchangeable optical modules that can be swapped in and out of the light path, enabling the creation of various distinct systems on one inverted microscope frame.
IX83 features overview:
- Fly-eye fluorescence illuminator produces uniform fluorescence illumination across the field of view even when using large format cameras.
- Zero drift compensation autofocus works in stand-alone mode without the need for a connected computer.
- High speed filter wheels, shutters and light sources.
- Real time controller allows for microsecond timing accuracy with high speed hardware.
Focus on Microscopy 2013 is taking place in Maastricht, The Netherlands on March 24 - March.
