The FLIR GF320 optical gas camera has been designed for effective monitoring of biogas leaks.
Optical gas imaging using the FLIR GF320 offers tangible benefits compared to traditional biogas leak systems, it is claimed.
This is because it can scan a broader area much more rapidly and monitor areas that are difficult to reach with contact measurement tools.
The portable camera also improves operator safety by detecting emissions at a safe distance.
The FLIR GF320 contains a cooled indium antimonide (InSb) detector.
This highly sensitive detector, that operates in the 3.2 - 3.4 micrometer waveband, not only visualises biogas leaks, but also makes the smallest of temperature differences on the storage tank clearly visible.
