AB Sciex has launched its Windows 7 compatible software designed to standardise mass spectroscopy software onto one platform.
The Analyst software package brings together a widely used mass spectroscopy platform into a single version, enabling laboratories to validate one piece of software for all instruments.
AB Sciex has stated that the Analyst software v1.6.2 also future-proofs a laboratory, simplifying the process of bringing a new instrument in-house.
A lab can more easily adopt, for example, the highest sensitivity instrument on the market for quantitation while using the same version of software to manage the older generation systems.
Joe Fox, senior director of the pharma business unit, stated: “The new Analyst software is the first version to marry all of our triple quadruples and trap instruments on one software platform.
Additionally, AB Sciex are also offering a compliance and validation service to assist laboratories facilitate the validation process.
The service includes a range of qualifications services, including software validation and system function testing that is designed to confirm the performance of the MS, LC and software together.
