Dolomite has published an application note that looks at the use of its hydrodynamic flow-focussing-based Small Droplet System for the formation of gas bubbles in liquid.
Compared with traditional methods, the relative ease and reliability of generating monodisperse gas bubbles makes this system suitable for cutting edge technological applications, the company claims.
The wetted parts have chemical stability and offer optical access for visual diagnostics, and applications range from R&D, to medical diagnostics, to materials science and petrochemicals.
The Small Droplet System setup is described in detail within the note to help illustrate the assembly of components along with the fluidic setup.
