The latest aspiration handset VHCpro complements the programme of liquid aspirations systems from Vacuubrand.
One of the most important criteria when working with cell cultures is the safety of the user, claims Vacuubrand product manager Achim Melching.
With this fundamental concept in mind, the entire range of liquid aspiration BioChem-VacuuCenter (BVC) systems has been redesigned.
Features include a reliable and powerful vacuum pump, non-contact level sensor for overflow protection, and a hydrophobic filter with 0.2 micron pore size.
According to Vacuubrand, the fully autoclavable suction handset VHCpro also now complements the BVC systems.
The low weight of the handset is designed to make any work undertaken with the VHCpro ’user friendly’. The company claims that the smooth operating mechanism has already proved its durability in an exhaustive testing programme.
Furthermore, a second mode, for permanent suction of larger volumes, is quick and easy to switch to.
