Mettler Toledo Process Analytics has announced the launch of the M100, a 2-wire transmitter for liquid analytics in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
With the M100, Mettler Toledo claims it is offering the world’s first transmitter for analytical measurement based on a compact head mount design, and without a local interface.
The transmitter offers global approvals for hazardous area use, and combines multi-parameter measurement with remote access to predictive sensor diagnostic tools over the HART communication protocol.
The transmitter covers pH/ORP, dissolved oxygen, and conductivity measurements, the company says.
The new 2-wire transmitter series is designed for use throughout the chemical industries and therefore has approvals based on explosion proof/flameproof and intrinsically safe protection for installation in hazardous areas.
