Manufactured by a process that excludes organic solvents harmful to marine life, CleverGEL is designed to be kinder to the environment than conventional agarose.
According to Cleaver Scientific, independent testing has shown the Gel produces a low EEO (electroendoosmotic) flow that minimises diffusion so that even the smallest of nucleic acid fragments remains sharp and tightly resolved, while its high gel strength aids handling and maintains compatibility with blotting techniques.
CleverGEL agarose is available as a powder or in tablet form for routine analysis of nucleic acids using standard electrophoretic procedures.
Supplied as 200 tablets in total, each tablet contains 0.5g of CleverGEL agarose, eliminating the need to weigh out agarose powder.
Fast-dissolving tablets simply need to be added to the buffer in the required quantity and heated, before preparing the gel as normal. The tablets are provided in blister packs of 10.
