The Analysette 28 ImageTec from Fritsch is designed to provide easy wet measurement with strong pumping power for particles of 1 µm up to 2.8 mm in suspensions and emulsions.
Using Dynamic Image Analysis of particle size and particle shape, agglomerates and other disturbances can be identified in even the smallest amounts and can be viewed as single images and sorted after measurement.
Sample material is fed into a closed liquid circulation system and pumped with high power through the measuring cell between the camera and LED strobe light.
The continuously obtained images are the basis for the analysis, with numerous possibilities of evaluation.
An ultrasonic emitter and adjustable dispersion conditions enable SOP or freely-programmable degradation of the agglomerates – which can be precisely adapted to each sample. An integrated water connection means that the unit can be automatically cleaned and refilled after each measurement.
Analysette 28 ImageTec features a unique lens revolver that can be simultaneously fitted with up to five lenses to meet a full measuring range.
Lenses can be selected via software and saved in the SOP. Measurement of one sample in various ranges can be carried out consecutively – with results viewed and supplied as either individual or overall results.
Evaluation software ISS displays each recorded particle clearly as a data point in the immediately available FRITSCH Cloud. Multiple measurements can be displayed on one chart to enable comparision between samples.
