Advantech's new 17" (43cm) panel display console, PDC-170, is designed to serve as a human machine interface (HMI) and as a desktop monitor in medical environments.
With its EN60601-1 and UL60061-1 certifications, PDC-170 has been designed with medical applications in mind.
Besides, PDC-170 provides a DVI port for sharp medical images.
The DVI port prevents signal distortion during transmissions.
The optional trim knob and touch screen on the PDC-170 work like a convenient interface that let medical professionals access and control software easily.
To extend PDC-170, there is also a USB2.0 hub function for peripheral connections.
This could for example be used for a mouse.
PDC-170 works great as a display solution in medical environments, both for patients and medical practitioners. Compared to most IT products, Advantech says its products have a longer product life cycle.
So replacing parts and RMA is faster and easier.
