Processing and databasing tool for method development and analytical data management will link to advanced chromatography management system
Advanced Chemistry Development (ACD/Labs) and Dionex have partnered to integrate ACD/ChromManager, the powerful processing and databasing tool for method development and analytical data management, with Chromeleon, the advanced chromatography management system that provides multi-vendor instrument control, intelligent information management, and comprehensive compliance capabilities.
A new import function built into ChromManager 6.0 imports data and methods directly from Chromeleon, for easy, accurate data transfers.
Chromeleon and ChromManager are now fully compatible.
Users of ACD/Labs software now have a convenient link to the most adaptable chromatography management system software.
Chromeleon users gain convenient access to the multi-dimensional database, intelligent chemical structure handling, and method development tools of ChromManager and Method Development suite.
This collaboration provides both types of users with even more power and productivity than ever before. "Dionex has been in the business of chromatography for more than 25 years.
It has designed a truly powerful and flexible software package that fully accommodates laboratories' changing needs," said Michael McBrien, chromatography product manager at ACD/Labs.
"As part of our ongoing initiative to unite the analytical chemistry world within the ACD/Labs suite of products, we are very excited to provide a link to Chromeleon.
This partnership will provide scientists with many additional capabilities to accelerate and enhance chromatographic method development and overall analytical data management." "We are pleased to add ACD/Labs to our list of Chromeleon development partners," said Jim Schibler, software product manager at Dionex.
"The rich structure/activity and method development features of the ACD/Labs software suite are excellent complements to the chromatography management capabilities of Chromeleon, and the combined systems provide a powerful solution for chromatography laboratories that deal with many different compounds." ACD/Labs and Dionex are discussing further opportunities for the benefit of their users.
