Matrix Plus LIMS supplier Autoscribe sees growing markets, and has announced that orders at the end of the third quarter 2001/2 are 96.7% ahead of last year
Despite the negative effects of 11 September and economic slowdown in some major economies, Autoscribe has noted particularly strong sales growth of its Matrix Plus LIMS products in the UK and North America.
Reflecting on the impressive results, managing director John Boother commented that '2001 has been a year when a series of planned developments within the business had come together to the benefit of both the company and its customers'.
At the beginning of 2001 the company shipped and installed the 200th copy of its successful Matrix Plus LIMS and moved into a modern facility in Aldermaston, UK.
The move into new offices and integration of the development department with the rest of the company has streamlined communications and increased efficiency helping Autoscribe to achieve an extension to the scope of its ISO 9001 certification.
To address the needs of its growing business, Autoscribe strengthened its product development department, which resulted in the release of a significant new version of Matrix Plus LIMS (v.
3.02).
In addition the technical services department was expanded to increase technical support to customers in areas including help desk, implementation services, training, documentation and product testing.
In the sales area, Autoscribe added experienced new staff in the UK and the USA to further drive business growth and support its growing international network of specialist distributors.
