The system holds and reports on three classes of important information - instrument inventory, instrument calibration, and instrument maintenance.
It can schedule calibration and maintenance intervals and issue reminders when the next action is needed.
When used with the Autoscribe Matrix Lims it can ensure that only valid instruments are scheduled for testing.
The latest version of ICMS also includes records of electrical safety checking.
In addition, an instrument system (eg HPLC) can be linked to components (detector, pump, etc) which can be individually managed.
Matrix ICMS can be supplied as a standalone product with a suite of reports and a typical screen configuration that is installable out-of-the-box.
Alternatively, it can be supplied as a configurable system allowing screen and menu changes, for example.
In the latter case implementation assistance is available if required.
Additionally the system can be supplied as an add-on module for Matrix Lims.
