A Lims seminar on 2 November 2004 will give lab managers a first chance to see how the flexibility of a Lims and the configuration tools of Matrix have been used in a wide variety of applications
Companies from many different industries, including pharmaceuticals, food/beverage, chemicals, oils, nuclear, water, cosmetics, contract, research, development and hospital pharmacy laboratories, will take part in the seminar, organised by Autoscribe.
Up to 15 user configurations of Matrix will be featured in the break-out sessions supported by representatives of the user companies.
In addition, configurations of q showing its adaptation to managing customer complaints and support desk services will be on display.
The seminar will be held at the WilliamsF1 Conference Centre near Wantage, UK and will incorporate the annual Matrix Lims user meeting.
On the agenda of the user meeting are presentations from Autoscribe on its latest software developments including Matrix Lims version 5, which has been developed in a.net environment.
This system will be usable via either conventional client and/or web interfaces with the important distinction that the screens can be designed for either interface using the powerful configuration tools previously mentioned.
In addition, new software for the management of staff training and resource planning will be presented.
Finally a visit to the Williams museum is on the agenda not to be missed if you have the slightest interest in motor racing.
This seminar is open to both users and non-users of Matrix Lims.
