Providing a compact, reliable and economical alternative to peristaltic pumps, or pump and valve combinations, these pumps are capable of outputs from 8 to 250 microlitres per dispense
Flow control specialist Bio-Chem Valve has developed a range of inert, solenoid operated micro pumps, available in the UK and Europe from Omnifit.
The company produces self-priming micro pumps capable of outputs from 8 to 250 microlitres per dispense, providing OEM designers and manufacturers of scientific and medical instrumentation with compact, reliable and economical alternatives to peristaltic pumps, or pump and valve combinations.
The micro-dispensing pumps feature a non-metallic, inert fluid path for dispensing high purity or aggressive fluids. They provide precise, repeatable, micro dispensing, are low maintenance and have long life performance.
Dispensing precision is as tight as +/-2% of set volume and the pumps are capable of actuation rates of between 120 and 250 cycles per minute.
The micro-dispensing pumps feature a non-metallic fluid path available in a choice of inert materials; PPS, Peek, EPDM and Teflon.
They feature positive shut-off, a low internal volume, a fully isolated solenoid, and low power consumption.
They are well suited to any precise dispense application, including reagent dispensers, wash pumps, diluters and drain pumps.
Bio-Chem Valve offers designers and manufacturers a low-cost quick-change customisation process that modifies standard components to meet application-specific needs with unique materials of construction, port threads, orifices, dispense volumes, special connectors and various manifold configurations.
