BD Biosciences has designed the neck, cap, shoulders and base of its BD Falcon TufRol range of EZ Roller bottles with maximum performance and comfortable handling in mind.
Researchers producing cells or intracellular products will find the sloping shoulders of the 850cm2 bottles a big plus for increasing product recovery and they can choose between a standard or indented base, the latter of which mimics the design of a wine bottle to provide a convenient grip.
Other useful features of the bottles include standard or vented twist caps with secure seals, vacuum gas plasma treatment for consistent cell attachment and a greater impact resistance due to the proprietary manufacturing process. They are also non-pyrogenic, gamma irradiated and manufactured according to ISO 9002 Quality System standards.
