Economically priced to suit the pocket of even the most budget-conscious laboratory, the new large stirrer and stirrer hotplates have features normally only found on more expensive systems
Streamlining its wide range of large hotplates, stirrers and stirrer hotplates, Bibby Sterilin has recently introduced two new Stuart models.
Economically priced to suit the pocket of even the most budget-conscious laboratory, the new SB302 and CB302 large stirrer and stirrer hotplates have many of the features normally only found on more expensive systems.
For the first time, users are offered a straightforward choice between metal or ceramic tops.
The practically unbreakable aluminium top is ideal for applications requiring very rapid and uniform heating whilst the ceramic versions offer high plate temperatures, easy cleaning and excellent chemical resistance.
With a 300mm x 300mm plate size, they are ideal for single large vessels.
Safety is a high priority and many sophisticated design and operational features have been incorporated, including a hot warning light which flashes if the temperature of the top plate rises above 70C, and continues to do so even when the hotplate is switched off.
