Bio-Rad Laboratories is holding a free public symposium on Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathy, including BSE and scrapie, in Edinburgh on 4 October
A free public discussion exploring issues around research and developments in distinguishing and detecting TSEs (Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathy), including BSE and scrapie, and its impact on consumers is to be held on 4 October in Edinburgh.
The day-long event, hosted by Bio-Rad Laboratories, will provide perspectives from a range of experts, which includes speeches from Ian McConnell from the University of Cambridge Centre for Veterinary Science, Danny Matthews, TSE programme manager for the Veterinary Laboratories Agency, and Emmanuel Comoy, Research and Development, TSE Unit, Bio-Rad.
