Brookfield has expanded its instrument capability with the recent acquisition of the CNS Farnell range of texture analysers
Brookfield is joining forces with one of the world's leading names in texture analysis - providing customers in the demanding QC, R and D and process development sectors with the very best in rotary and axial measurement.
David Brookfield, president of Brookfield Engineering, explains.
"The addition of axial testing capability complements and enhances the existing Brookfield rotary product range, providing us with greater flexibility to solve the rheological needs of our customers." CNS Farnell analysers are used to determine texture characteristics of a wide range of materials, including foods, personal care and industrial products.
The CNS Farnell product range includes the popular LFRA texture analyser, designed by the Leatherhead Food Research Association, for low force applications such as the gelatin Bloom test, and the QTS-25 texture analyser for more detailed analysis within the demanding R and D environment.
Both instruments are supplied with dedicated software packages, providing technologists with unique data analysis capabilities.
Brookfield will be bringing its extensive design and manufacturing resources to the CNS Farnell range, actively supporting an ambitious programme of product development.
For optimum customer service, Brookfield has retained the service of CNS Farnell technical and engineering staff, who will play an important part in providing sales and service support for the current product range.
