Biotrace International is supplying rapid hygiene monitoring equipment for a new eight-week programme airing on Channel 4 (UK) from May until July 2003.
'How clean is your house?' by Talkback Productions is a make-over show with a difference - exploring and testing the nooks and crannies of dirty homes before shocking the homeowners with the results and performing a complete hygiene overhaul.
Viewers should look out for Biotrace products such as the Uni-Lite Xcel luminometer and the company's two rapid surface hygiene tests: Clean-Trace, an ATP-based test, and Pro-tect, a colour change protein test.
The simple and reliable tests will be used by the associate editor of Good Housekeeping magazine Aggie Mackenzie to measure the level of contamination of offending areas in the kitchens and bathrooms of selected houses.
Biotrace International has also featured on BBC Wales TV and radio recently, highlighting the benefits of using its rapid and simple hygiene monitoring products in swimming pool and spas to monitor contamination levels and thus reduce the risks of infection.
