The CIS chemical inventory system from ChemSW has been enhanced with the introduction of a 'structure search' capability, using industry standard '.mol' files
ChemSW has introduced a new structure search capability for the its CisPro 2000 version of CIS chemical inventory system.
This allows users to search databases by structure and substructure, using the industry standard '.mol' file format. Structures can be pasted directly into CisPro search windows from a structure database or draw program.
The system delivers a fast search for similar structures or substructures, allowing researchers to easily locate chemicals.
"Many researchers like to work with structures and want the ability to choose from a group with similar structures," comments Brian Stafford, president of ChemSW.
"This is just one more step we've taken to continually improve our chemical inventory management systems to better meet our customers' needs." The structure search capability is a standard part of CIS version 5 and is available as an upgrade to users of earlier versions. Windows-based CIS chemical inventory systems, adaptable from the desktop to the enterprise, track laboratory chemicals and supplies.
Client/server and web versions for both Oracle and MS SQL Server applications are available.
