The TrueClone collection from Cambridge BioScience has been expanded and now contains over 22,000 full-length human cDNA clones
Developed by OriGene Technologies, this is the most comprehensive commercially available cDNA collection and clones are suitable for transfection in vivo or direct in vitro expression.
Greater than 99% of the cDNA clones are derived directly from reverse transcribed cDNA libraries eliminating the sequence errors introduced by other cloning methods and making them true clones. The collection includes all commonly used clones which are competitively priced to be readily accessible by the research community.
Having a full-length cDNA transcript enables the investigation of a wide spectrum of gene functions through the application of key technologies including: mammalian cell protein expression; in vitro coupled transcription/translation; siRNA/shRNA; SNP detection; antibody production; hybridisation probes; and access to splice variants.
