Software takes advantage of new active 3D graphical viewing, high-resolution video graphics capability, multi-level calibration and graphical baseline adjustment and manipulation
A new highly intuitive software package offering many advanced features has been announced by ESA Analytical, a supplier of advanced separations, detection and analysis systems, for its highly sensitive and selective CoulArray HPLC electrochemical array detector.
CoulArray for Windows32 software takes advantage of new active 3D graphical viewing, high-resolution video graphics capability, multi-level calibration and graphical baseline adjustment and manipulation to bring the unmatched HPLC diagnostic power of the CoulArray detector to any user.
Fully compatible with familiar Windows XP and Windows 2000 operating systems, the new comprehensive CoulArray for Windows software is very easy to learn and use.
The software walks users through instrument set-up and data collection with wizards to simplify the common tasks and an on-line tutorial to unlock a range of advanced features.
The CoulArray detector uses a patented coulometric sensor that overcomes the problems associated with many unreliable HPLC electrochemical sensor designs.
Unlike amperometric electrodes that typically sense less than 10% of analytes the coulometric sensor measures 100% ensuring optimum results.
Compatible with both isocratic and gradient HPLC the CoulArray detector provides routine femtogram sensitivity, typically three orders of magnitude better than techniques such as photodiode array detection.
Using multiple sensors working in concert, the CoulArray detector is able to resolve co-eluting peaks, determine peak purity, and produce qualitative information for compound identification based on the inherent electrochemical behaviour of the analytes.
