Eurotherm Limited have announced details of a wide range of specification improvements and price reductions to its family of data recorders.
The changes, all of which offer significant advantages to customers, extend from the lowering of prices for entry level 100mm recorders and continue through to the addition of extra functions at no cost to top of the range instruments like the sophisticated 4250 Range.
Prices have been strenuously reviewed across the company's entire range, taking advantage of improved buying and manufacturing techniques.
These have only recently become available to the Eurotherm Recorders business area through parent company Invensys.
Roger Nightingale, Recorders Product Manager, comments: "While we are the acknowledged leader in the UK (world?) data recorder market, we are certainly not complacent in what is a highly competitive business environment.
We are constantly seeking improvements, and when we set out to review the entire spectrum of product offerings, it was to ensure that our products maintain their technical edge and outstanding value for money." Several of the technical changes were introduced as a result of customer feedback.
For instance, a common customer requirement, simple maths functions, rolling memory and 8Mb ATA flash cards, are now a standard feature at no additional cost on all instruments where these were previously a chargeable extra.
