Innovadyne Technologies has announced that it is establishing a European sales and support facility for its high-speed, low-volume pipetting technology
The new European business of Innovadyne Technologies is based in Manchester UK, and will be managed by Kevin Barrett, formerly of Anachem.
With his new appointment at Innovadyne, Kevin assumes primary responsibility for representing Innovadyne's interests in Europe.
"We are excited to bring a director of Kevin's calibre on board," said Andrew Farquharson, Innovadyne's VP of commercial operations.
"Kevin brings with him over 20 years of experience in the laboratory automation market, and particular expertise in the HTS and protein crystallography markets.
Innovadyne's management team is delighted to have Kevin introduce our assay miniaturisation technology to the European market." Barrett commented "Innovadyne's high-precision liquid transfer technology is highly robust, and enables non-contact dispensing in the nanolitre-microlitre range.
Critically, Innovadyne understands what it takes to commercialise low-volume liquid handling technology, and their products work for the end user.
The Nanodrop product, recently launched with Thermo, is one example of Innovadyne's expertise with the hardware, firmware and software interface necessary for a successful commercial product. I believe that Innovadyne is well positioned to become the industry standard for facilities that are seeking to miniaturise high-throughput biological assays."
