The UK Industrial Vision Association (Ukiva) will be hosting two days of free technical seminars at the forthcoming new Imaging Science section of the Photonex 03 exhibition as part of the Association's sponsorship of this new event.
With different programmes on each day of the show, the aim is to keep visitors up to date with the latest in imaging technology.
Although entrance to the seminars is free, places are limited, so pre-registration via the Ukiva website is strongly recommended. This will not only guarantee entry but also ensures registrants collect their copies of the presentations on CD-Rom on the day. Ukiva director Don Braggins commented: "Developments in sensor and camera technology feature strongly in the technical programme and include the evolution of intelligent cameras (complete vision systems in a single enclosure) and CMOS colour image sensors.
"The seminars will be delivered by experts from among our membership".
The new Imaging Science section forms part of the well-established Photonex exhibition to be held at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, and provides a dedicated hub for visitors to find out about imaging, vision and machine vision components and products.
Products on show will include optics for low light level, infrared and night vision applications.
Ukiva will also have a stand at the show, where visitors can find receive impartial advice about industrial vision topics and where companies can find out about the benefits of membership.
