A breakthrough into the Asian market for a brand of chromatography software already well known in America, Europe and South Africa
Justice Laboratory Software says that for many years its Chrom Perfect range has been regarded as a major brand in markets throughout continental America, Europe and South Africa.
Until recently the company's successes in Asia had been limited to smaller one-off systems.
A new business partnership with ICD Asia is set to change this with a new sales and customer support network established in the region.
These efforts were rewarded recently when the first major Chrom Perfect Spirit system was installed at the National Petrochemical Company's olefins plant at Rayong, in Thailand.
The system was installed to replace an aging network of obsolete equipment and will compliment a new LabsQ Lims system which will also be supplied and supported by ICD's Bangkok Offices.
Veera Chupongsitmun, managing director of Thailand, said: "With this first installation of Chrom Perfect Spirit in Thailand, we begin a successful relationship with Justice Laboratory Software.
"With our local skills and contacts across various industries I am confident that Chrom Perfect will soon be recognised as a strong brand name in Thailand and other Asian markets.
"Our research indicates very strongly that the current providers of chromatography data systems do not address the needs of the Asian markets.
"This research indicates the systems available today are from instrument manufacturers who cater for their own brand of instrumentation.
"Most facilities that we contacted, require a data system which will work well with any chromatography instrument.
"Also over recent years many facilities have seen their budgets cut and can not justify the high cost of most chromatography software packages.
"With the introduction of Chrom Perfect, ICD will be unique in offering value for money and performance".
