Leco says its new GX series inverted metallographs, made with Olympus input, set new standards of performance and reliability in structural examination
Leco has teamed with Olympus to introduce the new GX-Series inverted metallographs - the ideal solutions for image clarity and resolution in structural analyses.
Modularity of the GX51 and GX71 models allow a broad range of applications (production control, quality control, and advanced research) to be implemented.
The only metallographs built with a solid aluminium casting (for improved stability and rigidity), the GX51 and the GX71 offer objectives ranging from 1.25X to 250X; reticle sliders that accept grain size, micron marker, and intercept methods; and a variety of optional filters.
Various TV couplers providing numerous video magnifications are also available.
Advanced UIS optics are ideal for all observation methods -- including brightfield, darkfield, sensitive tint, simple polarising, and Nomarski DIC - to consistently provide sharp, detailed images with excellent contrast and clarity.
