US Federal and state agencies are now able to procure the company's laboratory information management system without lengthy bureaucracy
Lims (USA) has been awarded a General Services Administration (GSA) schedule, GSA contract no: GS-24F-0023M.
Listing under the GSA will now allow US federal and state agencies to procure sophisticated laboratory information management systems without a lengthy RFP and contract negotiation process.
"Following successful implementations at a number of government agencies including the New Born Screening program at the Commonwealth of Virginia and the USGS National Water Quality Lab we pursued the route of adding StarLims to the GSA Schedule.
We believe that this addition will significantly impact how quickly these agencies can begin taking advantage of the increased flexibility, improvements in integration and ease of use which StarLims provides, stated Itschak Friedman, president and CEO of Lims (USA).
"We look forward to enhancing our involvement in public sector laboratories searching for a LIMS solution" he added.
