Another strategic partnership, this time providing system integration services for large-scale enterprises in China's petrochemical industry
In a move designed to maximise focus and accelerate growth, SunwayWorld and Lims have announced that a strategic partnership has been agreed upon whereby SunwayWorld will present StarLims with a gateway to China's emerging petrochemical market.
The partnership will benefit from SunwayWorld's vast experience of providing system integration services for many large-scale enterprises in China's petrochemical industry, as well as StarLims leadership in delivering collaborative laboratory information management systems for global petrochemical projects. StarLims enables petrochemical companies to generate and record quality information, accessible by users at all technical levels. The system exposes ultimate flexibility to enable changes that reflect new business needs with out endangering the ability to perform future upgrades.
China is rapidly closing the gap with leading western markets in regard to consumption of petrochemical products.

"We are confident that 2003 will start a boom period for China's petroleum and petrochemical market as rapid economic growth will demand an increase for oil and petrochemical products" said Li Yanjie, president of SunwayWorld.
"StarLims proven experience in five of the top ten global oil companies, grants us an immeasurable head start in achieving our goal of becoming a one stop solutions company for leading petrochemical enterprises in China." "The goal is to combine our Lim solutions with the local support and integration power that SunwayWorld have in China.
This partnership with SunwayWorld strengthens our presence in China and continues our developmental strategy into the Asia-Pacific region." In March this year Lims.
