M+P International confirms support as VXI Technology acquires Agilent Technologies's mechanical data acquisition products
VXI Technology is to acquire Agilent's mechanical data acquisition product segment within its test and measurement business.
Agilent, spun off from Hewlett Packard in 1999, said it is divesting this product segment as part of an overall effort to redefine its strategic focus.
VXI Technology is a supplier of modular VXIbus test systems.
The company possesses resources for the development, sale and support of sophisticated signal analysis solutions.
Many Agilent employees will be employed by VXI Technology, assuring the product expertise and long history in this market will continue.
VXI Technology will not only be responsible for the sale of the acquired Agilent products, but will present interesting new noise and vibration products in the immediate future.
M+P International plans to continue support of these products.
M+P International customers who work with its systems based on Agilent VXIbus hardware can continue to expect innovative and powerful system solutions.
All Agilent products will be fully supported by M+P and its new partner VXI Technology, from sales to support and service.
