Diagnosis tool for the checking of titrators can simulate four different titrations for a rapid, dry check of the instrument hardware and software
This new diagnosis tool allows the rapid and convenient checking of Metrohm titrators.
The Titration Curve Simulator is just connected to the Titrino, Titrando or Titroprocessor and then generates titration curve data in an extremely reproducible way. The user has the possibility of choosing between various types of curve which are present in the digital form in the simulator.
The following titrations can be simulated: acid-base titration with one endpoint; citric acid titration with three endpoints; conditioning for the Karl Fischer titration; and Karl Fischer titration.
The titration curves which are recorded and then evaluated accordingly by the titrator are used for a rapid, dry check of the instrument hardware and software.
The 822 Titration Curve Simulator can additionally be used within the context of a system validation.
Both the shape of the recorded titration curves and the determined endpoints must correspond to the set values.
These two criteria give information about both the serviceability of the electrode inputs and dosing outputs and also allow an assessment of the evaluation software of the titrator.
