The Titrando system is based upon a completely new instrument and operation concept which utilises state-of-the-art microelectronics and software tools.
The Titrando has the option of two fully interchangeable intelligent dosing devices: either the space saving dosino and/or a built-in burette drive. Intelligent dosing elements: The dosing and exchange units set new standards with regard to reliability.
Increased reliability not only saves you money, but also means few problems. Intelligence 'en miniature' in the form of an inconspicuous data chip makes this possible.
This chip is present in every new exchange and dosing unit.
The Titrando automatically reads from it all the data that it needs to carry out the titration properly, ie, type of reagent, titer, last titer determination, shelf-life data and much more.
The Titrando also compares the data it has obtained with the selected method and carries out a plausibility test.
If the result is negative then a clear error message appears.
Every exchange and dosing unit is provided with serial and cylinder numbers and is supplied with a certificate of its own.
The Titrando checks the present intervals for the titer determination of the titrant.
This ensures that work is always carried out with the exact titer.
Both exchange and dosing units dose the titrant with what Metrohm says is the highest resolution known throughout the dosing world.
Dynamic (DET) and monotonic (MET) titration, endpoint titration (SET), Karl Fischer titration (KFT), direct measurement with ion-sensitive electrodes (Meas Conc) and liquid handling are all possible.
Four MSB connections, one or two galvanically separated measuring interfaces, and fast USB connection are all new.
It meets the requirements of FDA Regulation 21 CFR Part 11. Operating element for the Titrando is either a touch-sensitive colour display in 1/4VGA format (perfect for plant laboratories) or by PC control.
The resolution of the touch control is 320x240 pixels, and both offer a simple and intuitive user guidance function.
