Development and principles - a brief discussion on KF titration, the theory and advantages over other methods. Voltammetry and coulometry - an overview of one component and two-component volumetric titrations and the coulometric system, along with the advantages and disadvantages of each method. Matrix variances and problem solving - a discussion of solvent systems, temperature influence, pH influence and control, plus KF oven techniques for difficult samples, with application advice and practical experimental tips.
Validation and instrument control - the role that KF titration plays in ISO9000 and instrument validation.
Validation standards will also be discussed, together with the latest CFR compliant software. Specific applications; a KF clinic to discuss specific individual KF problems.
