Mettler Toledo's new Rondo 60 autosampler is a flexible, easy to use system, which can completely automate the titration procedure and therefore increase productivity
The Rondo 60 is based on a flexible modular concept with a variety of accessories which can be added as the user's requirements change.
The unit features two moveable titration towers, enabling parallel titration as well as complex sample preparations.
It also has four pumps which allow diverse combinations of dosing, rinsing, and emptying processes.
A choice of magnetic or propeller stirrers ensure that a diversity of samples are perfectly stirred while four different sample racks for 12 to 60 samples means different beaker sizes can be used. The innovative PowerShower mechanism ensures complete rinsing of the electrodes and stirrer between titrations eliminating carryover between samples.
Additionally, Rondo 60 can be transformed into a system specialising in Karl Fischer moisture determination or chemical oxygen demand (COD) determination within a few minutes.
As well as offering all these features, the Rondo 60 is very user friendly.
The unit is mainly plug and play - to start using it, it is simply plugged into a Mettler Toledo DL5x or DL7x titrator.
The sample racks are automatically recognised by the sample changer as soon as they are mounted. Rondo 60 is controlled through the user-friendly interface of the titrator.
However, in cases where a quick intervention directly at the sample changer is necessary, a built-in keyboard allows fast control of the turntable and pumps.
