Portable density meter and refractometer offer some improved features over earlier models, but with no price increase
The new portable density meter - Densito 30PX - and refractometer - Refracto 30PX - from Mettler Toledo have numerous improved features.
The backlit displays can be activated or deactivated and a built-in clock allows results to be transmitted via the infrared interface together with the time and date of measurement.
The Densito also offers enhanced API tables.
Densito is easy to use - simply immerse the sampling tube into the product and pull the trigger.
It performs automatic temperature compensation and provides results in seconds - in units chosen by the user.
Refracto is quick and error free.
Just place a few drops on to the cell or even dip it in to the sample, push the button and in seconds you receive a refractive index reading with temperature displayed digitally.
Results are given in seconds and are available in a wide variety of units.
