PharmaCore has moved to a new facility in High Point, USA, affording it the opportunity to expand as the business grows
The state-of-the-art facility will be used to manufacture the company's molecular building blocks, to develop custom synthetic organic chemicals and to conduct contract research for pharmaceutical drug discovery programmes.
The new facility contains two Class 10,000 clean room synthesis laboratories, an isolation laboratory, increased waste-handling capabilities, and a dedicated room for analytical equipment.
"The new laboratory space allows for future expansion in terms of both staff and equipment," said Joseph Miller, vice president of chemistry for PharmaCore.
"It was important to us to stay in High Point because of the growing research industry in the Piedmont Triad area."
