InteliCoat has employed a comprehensive transition strategy to ensure the uninterrupted availability of products and services to the customer bases of companies it has acquired
InteliCoat Technologies, formerly Rexam Image Products, has undergone a period of rapid expansion during the six months post-launch, through the acquisitions of Azon and SKC America Sunnyvale (CA division).
Keen to capitalise on this early success and underline its commitment to the coating market, InteliCoat has employed a comprehensive transition strategy to ensure the uninterrupted availability of products and services to the customer bases of each company.
Azon is a specialist manufacturer of wide-format coated papers and films for the reprographics industry, and SKC Sunnyvale's production facilities for the microfilm and phototool markets have now been incorporated into the InteliCoat business.
These mergers have brought together existing strengths and expertise to form a fully comprehensive coating and converting enterprise, and build upon InteliCoat's position as a media manufacturing leader in the global digital imaging industry.
European sales and marketing director Mark Chappell explained: "Sun Capital's aggressive acquisition strategy to support the business coupled with our own ambitious organic growth activities demonstrates our intention to ensure our customers are dealing with a leading coating company."
