Rietschle UK is introducing Forano: a range of compact, side channel compressors, blowers, and vacuum pumps, that can deliver large capacities or high pressure differentials, thanks to new impeller/side channel geometry coupled with variable rotational speeds.
Driven by speed controlled, brushless DC motors, they are ideal for medical and laboratory applications where space is restricted.
High-speed (9000 rpm) models SSK 90 and SSK 120 operate as compressors and vacuum pumps.
Their dry-running, non-contact operation also means no process contamination or environmental pollution.
Designed for air centre applications, the single stage SSK 600 can be installed in an area of only 420mm x 345mm.
Despite its trim figure, it provides 640m3/h of compressed air at up to 100mbar.
