Windows-based data review and acquisition system designed for automated compound isolation and purification
Shimadzu Scientific Instruments has announced the release of PsiPort mass directed auto purification (MDAP) software for LC/MS operations.
Ideal for high-level discovery programs, PsiPort is a Windows-based data review and acquisition system designed for automated compound isolation and purification.
The software uses an intuitive, graphical user interface within Internet Explorer to simplify high throughput MDAP for all users.
The browser enables users to view and track fractions showing mass spectrum and associated UV results for each collected product via a local or remote connection using integrated C/S support. Shimadzu's easy-to-use PsiPort software features a highly flexible system design to support compound isolation up to the gram scale, and precise fraction collection governed by user-specific criteria (slope, response threshold by UV and/or MS, or by simply a time program).
To increase the system's flexibility and capacity, PsiPort software also supports the Gilson 215 either as a fraction collector or autosampler.
