Software enables the user to operate the system from a remote computer, while maintaining the crucial ability of the instrument to communicate with existing HPLC equipment
High temperature liquid chromatography (HTLC) specialist Selerity Technologies introduces innovative software for its Polaratherm total temperature controller.
This new software enables the user to operate the system from a remote computer, while maintaining the crucial ability of the instrument to communicate with existing HPLC equipment.
It also provides the means to integrate with additional vendor software packages.
With the Polaratherm, Selerity Technologies has produced a stand-alone column compartment with a universal interface that can integrate with any existing high performance liquid chromatograph.
It allows the separation scientist to take advantage of temperature gradients when performing chromatographic runs.
Benefiting from a unique mobile phase pre-heater design, the Polaratherm is said to be the first commercially available instrument capable of hot and cold temperatures and temperature programming.
Selerity's new software enhances the use of the Polaratherm and embraces developmental requirements in the chromatography industry.
It has been developed by Selerity in order to control the column compartment and to monitor temperatures.
The software provides the user with the ability to create, save and print out sequences and methodology.
It also records changing parameters such as the oven temperature, the mobile phase temperature as it enters and exits the column, and the effluent temperature before it enters the detector.
The software is both flexible and user-friendly.
It includes an option for locking the front panel keyboard so that functionality cannot be accessed through the Polaratherm, thus reducing variability in the laboratory.
It further enables the Polaratherm to become fully integrated in the modern laboratory as part of a total solution when using EzChrom Elite's data acquisition software package.
