SAL has won the order to supply the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London with two top-of-the-range Asepsys MP16 multi-purpose autoclaves
SAL, one of the UK's leading Autoclave manufacturers, has won the order to supply the prestigious Chelsea and Westminster Hospital (C and W) in London with two top-of-the-range Asepsys MP16 machines and extensive after-sales service.
The two 16cu.ft multi-purpose autoclaves with loading equipment and discard waste containers, replace the Hospital's ageing BMM Weston Autoclaves.
The deal includes delivery, installation, commissioning, data archiving and service.
The famous London Hospital found that they were beginning to struggle supporting the machines from a maintenance side and they were starting to fail on a regular basis.
The tender was won against stiff competition from Getinge and BMM Weston.
SAL worked very hard to help C and W hit their budget for the purchase of the equipment and convinced them of their ability to deliver after a site visit to Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford to see existing machines in operation.
"From the tender return to the planning of the build, installation, and commissioning, I found SAL to be a very professional outfit.
Once I saw the SAL machine, I knew that for the price, I would get excellent value for money, plus a first rate After-Sales Service," said Richard Taylor, Project Manager, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
