New accessory specifically designed to allow the study of humidity-induced phenomena by microscopy enhanced with video text overlay signal for image annotation
Without suitable protection, all solid and liquid substances on the surface of the Earth are subjected to atmospheric moisture or humidity.
In the case of powders or particulates, humidity-induced changes often occur at the microscopic level. Surface Measurement Systems, specialist in moisture sorption technology, has developed a new accessory specifically designed to allow the study of humidity induced phenomena by microscopy. The VGI 2000M provides accurate and reproducible humidity control for light, FT-IR, NIR, and Raman microscopes.
The capability of the VGI 2000M has recently been enhanced by the introduction of video image annotation as a standard feature.
This feature provides a video text overlay signal with the current setpoints and measured values for sample temperature (C) and humidity (%RH), as well as a time/date stamp and current sample name.
The image annotation therefore provides a unique reference for each image captured - useful for both rapid data interpretation and data traceability in a GLP environment.
All the hardware and software required to do this is embedded in the VGI digital controller, so no further hardware installation is required.
PAL and NTSC compatible versions are available for Europe and USA respectively.
